Five titles for London Academy at Jack Petchey Finals

London Academy was dominant because they won five titles at the Jack Petchey London Schools Team Finals.

They won both boys' and girls' categories in the age groups under 11 and under 13 years old, plus the girls' competition under 16.

Wallington High School for Girls and Wallington County Grammar won the respective girls and boys at the level under 19.

The boys' competition under 16 could not be completed in the day.

London Academy started their winning series in the Under-11 girlsBeating Fox Primary 5-2.

The winning line-up was Alexia Ciobanica, Suhayla Ali Farah, Darcey Parker, Real Kola and Iliona Kola.

The reports semi-finalists were Aldersbrook, who were beaten 4-0 by London Academy, and St Edwards, who lost to Fox Primary with the same score.

The school -based school has doubled in the age group when their Under-11 boys Defeated Churchfield. The Academy won the first five games to take an inviolable lead.

The winning line-up was Zechariah Sarri, Rafael Henzel Wacker, Dominic Rimmy and Nicholas Andrei.

London Academy had overcome Fox Primary 7-1 in the semi-final, while Churchfields defeated St Martins 5-2.

The Girls under 13 The competition was a Round-Robin tournament between five schools and London Academy came at the top, and only dropped one individual competition when they beat Woodford County High, Addey & Stanhope, Putney High School and Wallington High School for girls.

It was Addey & Stanhope who made the London Academy competition, but Woodford earned the Silver Medal, defeated Addingy & Stanhope with 4-3 and won their other two games.

London Academy doubled again and took the U13 guys Title with an 8-0 whitewash or Kings College.

The winning team was Adam Riadi, Yacoub Rahmani-Walentynska, Stefan Pop and Lewis MacSever.

In the semi-final, London Academy passed Bamcroft 8-0, while Kings City of London 5-2 defeated a remarkable score in the first match when Haoting Li van City of London Casper Iliffe 2-1 (19 -17, 12-14 , 11-9).

London Academy was again inviolable in the Under 16 girls category. The team of Sienna Jetha, Alisha Dutta and Mauli Shah defeated Marylebone 4-0 in the final.

They had previously defeated Addey & Stanhope with the same score in the semi-final, while Marylebone Morpeth defeated, also with 4-0.

Wallington High School for girls beat Putney High School 4-1 to win the Under-19 girls. The winning team was Macy NG and Kelly NG, who conquered the Putney duo of Eleanor and Issy Turner-Samuels.

It was Issy who got the Putney Point, making it 1-1 with the victory over Kelly.

In the semi-final, Wallington defeated Harris City 3-1, while Putney received a bye.

Wallington County Grammar defeated St Dominics 6-2 in the final to take the Under-19 boys title. Their opponents came twice from a match to level at 1-1 and 2-2, but Wallington won the four reverse competitions to take the gold.

The winning line-up was Angus Yuen, Vihan Nimal, Hugo Rogers and Sanjay Sathish.

Wallington defeated King Edwards 7-1 in one semi-final, but the other needed Games countback when St Dominics and University College School 4-4. UCS came to the level every time from 2-0, 3-2 and 4-3, but St Dominics took the countback 10-8.
