Durham, NH – Senior attacker Robert Cronin (Plymouth, Massachusetts) scored two goals when the Nr. 18 men's hockey team of the University of New Hampshire on Saturday evening Vermont beat 5-2 in the Whittemore Center on the Key Auto Group Complex in Hockey East-Action.

Senior attacker Conor Lovett (Franklin, Massachusetts), second -year student Nick Ring (Hingham, Massachusetts) and second -year student Ryan Conmy (Alexandria, from) each scored a goal for the wildcats, while they were a junior goalkeeper Jared whale (Calgary, Alberta) made 23 saves to win the victory. Ring added an assist for two points, while he was a senior leader Alex Gagne (Bedford, NH) also had a multi-point night with two assists.

The Wildcats, who took four of the six points against Vermont this weekend, go to 11-9-3 (3-8-2 Hockey East), while the catamounts are falling to 9-13-3 (4-9-2 Hockey East ).
