Jasprit Bumrah was named the ICC Men's Test Cricketer of the Year for 2024 after the India Pace Spearhead produced its best annual TREP in the red-ball format, the sport administrative body said Monday.
The 31-year-old seambowling genius was at the top of the Wicket-Taking hit lists last year in Testcricket with 71 out of 13 games, 19 more than the second place Gus Atkinson of England (in 11 games), after returning from a back injury in the end of 2023.
