USCHO/USA Hockey Ranks MSU Men's Hockey #15 – Minnesota State University
Mankato, Minn. – Minnesota State Men's Hockey came to number 15 in both Uscho.com and USA Hockey/The Rink Live Division I National Top-20 polls on Monday (January 27). The Mavericks (ranked no. 14 last week) come from a series in Big Rapids in the weekend against Ferris State.
The Mavericks (17-7-2, 12-4-2 CCHA) lead the conference classification with eight regular seasonal competitions to play. Colleague CCHA member school Augustanawas is also number 19 by USCHO.com, while Michigan Tech and Bowling Green received national voices. MSU organizes St. Thomas on Friday at 7:07 pm and then goes to Mendota Heights to complete the series on Saturday at 6:07 pm
Boston College (18-4-1) was on both polls this week, after a sweep across Boston University. Michigan State, West-Michigan and Minnesota complete the top five.
The Mavericks were arranged as no. 11 this season and received the Top-20 for the 15th consecutive week.
