University of Mississippi – Ole Miss Athletics
The event will be the highlight of the spring exercises of Ole Miss, because the team will not perform a spring competition this year.
“In accordance with the professional mentality of our program, we follow a business approach with our spring exercises with the focus of improving as a team,” said Rebel Head Coach Lane Kiffin. “After careful idea, including the timing of other spring events, we found that it was best not to hold a spring game. We look forward to organizing a Fandag for the Ole Miss family to get in touch with our players on a personal level.”
Admission is free for Meet The Rebels Day, which is currently set to start at 1 p.m., just a few hours before the Ole Miss Baseball team Tennessee organizes in competition two of the series between two of the last three national champions. In addition to players' signatures, fans of Kiffin and other OLE Miss coaches during a Q&A program hear.
More details about Meet The Rebels Day will be announced in the coming weeks. Ole Miss will start on March 18 with spring football drills and exercises are closed to the public.
