Junior Trio named after the third team of Ecac Hockey
Schenectady, NY Three members of the Junior Class of the Union College Men's Hockey Team achieved ECAC Hockey Third Team Honors, the conference announced on Tuesday. Juniors Kyle Chauvette” John ProkopAnd Brandon Buhr were all recognized by the competition.
Prokop earns his third consecutive All-Ecac Hockey-Eer after he had been to the first team last season and a member of the All-Rookie team in the 2022-23 campaign. The Blueliner has 26 points (8-18-26) in 34 games. Prokop has three Power-Play goals and two game-winning goals this season. He is sixth among the defenders of the conference in scoring with 14 points (3-11-14) in competition game. Prokop was honored twice as the ECAC hockey defender of the week and was also the defender of the conference of the month in October.
BuHR earns his first ECAC hockey-primary after scoring 28 points (19-9-28) in general with 19 points (13-6-19) in conference game. Buhr has scored two hat tricks since January, both against opponents of the competition. His five game-winning goals arrange him 10oneNational and his 0.56 goals per game place him in 15oneIn the country. Union returns to action on Friday evening for the quarterfinals of the ECAC hockey against Dartmouth College. Puck drop for Game One of the Best-of-Three series was set at 19:00 on Messa Rink.
