With more than 40 teams, the Western Pennsylvania Youth Football League is one of the largest in the area. They had to hold an emergency meeting on Wednesday evening to get a new director and now start trying to gain access to their own bank accounts.
The football season is still away for months, but for team representatives such as Chris Havelka from Burgettstown they have been hit by a blindzide Blitz.
“Everyone is climbing now and does everything they can do to make us play football,” said Havelka.

“We want the children to have a place to play and ensure that we play football in the future when the football season comes,” said Havelka.
Regarding the accounts of individual teams, Havelka says that they were not influenced.
