MLTT adds expansion teams in New York, Atlanta
Princeton, NJ Major League Table Tennis (MLTT), the first professional table tennis competition in the United States, today announced the addition of two new teams, the New York Slice and the Atlanta Blazers. These teams will become members of MLTTS eight original teams for season 3, starting in September 2025.
The expansion to 10 teams reflects MLTT's rapid growth and rising popularity and follows the recent historical national media of the competitions with CBS Sports. MLTT also concluded a financing round of $ 5.5 million in October 2024, so that the competition was further positioned for persistent expansion.
New York and Atlanta come at a time of record-breaking growth for MLTT, where season 2 viewers on YouTube increases by more than 500% and reaches the presence of record heights in several markets.
New York Slice: A team built for the City of Dreams

The Atlanta Blazers are expanding to one of the most lively sports markets and quickly bring MLTT action to a region with a rapidly growing table tennis community. The team is led by head coach Suzi BattisonAn experienced player who participated in China before he became head coach at the National Stadium in New Jersey in 2013. Since then she has trained several players who represent the American national team at different levels.
