Bengaluru Autorickshaw's Inspiring Table Tennis Tale goes viral. Internet responds
In a heart -warming story about passion meets perseverance, a car time program from the Tech Hub of India in Bengaluru has become viral on social media after juggling with two very different roles. The inspiring story of Auto Driver, Gurumurthy N, was shared on LinkedIn by Gayatri Gopakumar and has already collected a considerable traction.
Mrs. Gopakumar has detailed how during her conversation with Mr. Gurumurthy it was revealed that he also worked as a professional table tennis coach. “True Inspiration: Multiple caps wear with excellence,” wrote Mrs. Gopakumar in her after.
“I had to share this incredible meeting with you all! This morning I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Gurumurthy N, a professional car -rickshaw -driver in Bengaluru. But that's not all -he is also a table tennis coach!” she added.
Mr Gurumurthy, based from Malleshwaram, in particular, worked as a full-time coach for the Staatstafel tennis team of Karnataka, but when the COVID-19 Pandemie struck, he was forced to work as a rickshaw driver.
“This casual meeting has reminded me that we can wear several caps with Excellency! The story of Mr. Gurumurthy is proof of the fact that our professions do not define us, and we can pursue our passions with dedication and hard work,” Gopakumar said.
In one of the shared images, Mr. Gurumurthy had plastered a poster on the back of his chair, so that passengers, who were perhaps looking for a coach, could contact him.
“I am a professional TT coach. Share my contact number with everyone who wants to be trained in TT – Individuals, club apartment clubhouses, schools. Thank you,” read the poster of Mr. Gurumurthy.

As the post went viral, users of social media praised Mr. Gurumurthy's hard work, and added that he had inspired them to never give up their passion.
“It really emphasizes the remarkable resilience and versatility that individuals such as Mr. Gurumurthy possess,” said one user while the other adds: “His journey is a powerful memory that our possibilities go beyond job titles and that passion can feed our activities, regardless of circumstances.”
A third commentator urged parents to register their children for training under Mr. Gurumurthy after the end of academic exams.
