Jack Draper beats Holger Rune in Indian Wells Final to win the first ATP Masters title
Just as he did during the semi -final victory over double defending champion Alcaraz, Draper made a quick start that undermined the confidence of his opponent.
The Brit showed the accurate portion that had been the foundation of his run to the final, and regularly put a tense Rune's first serve back into the game – and hit winners from the baseline.
Two breaks from Rune's Serve were supported with fast Goldingen to keep stacking on pressure, with a 4-0 lead that quickly became a 5-1 advantage.
Draper did not lose a first point of point to the competition where he closed the opening set.
