John Oliver jokes about oregonians who bet on table tennis

It seems that only yesterday that John Oliver made something ridiculous oregon-related on his HBO/Max series, Last week tonight.

Well, it was actually on the season premiere, February 16, that Oliver joined the choir of Late-Night Comedians who made jokes about Maxine Dexter, the American representative from Oregon, and her non-printable comment about President Donald Trump.

But that does not mean that Oliver is over with finding comedy in Oregon-related topics, as has shown episode last week this week.

In a segment about the rise of sports betting, and how apps, professional sports competition cooperation and endless advertisements make sports betting everywhere, Oliver spoke about the enormous industry.

Instead of bet as something you needed to go to Las Vegas, or to leave the house else, Oliver said that sports bets apps now allow people to gamble on almost everything – and people do – like this local news story from Oregon shows.

Viewers then saw a clip of a KGW TV report, talking about how Oregonians $ 57 million had used tennis on the table, making it the fourth largest draw for sports gamblers, behind professional basketball, football and baseball.

The report also mentioned a recent major bet, in which, in the early hours of the morning, a sports gamblers in Oregon $ 35,000 placed on a table tennis competition in Poland between two relatively unknown players in an empty gym.

An expert was then shown that this is as the crack cocaine of sports gambling.

While the audience laughed, Oliver said, well, that's never a great sign. Nobody ever uses crack cocaine to describe something positive.

The entries of the Table -tennis bets of Oregon start at around 2:23 in the video above.

The Oregonian/Oregonlive also reported on the popularity of Oregonians who tennis games on the table in 2021.

View photos The advantages of comparing online car insurance quotes are the following: Online quotes can be obtained from anywhere and at any time. Unlike physical insurance agencies, websites don't have a specific schedule and they are available at any time. Drivers that have busy working schedules, can compare quotes from anywhere and at any time, even at midnight. Multiple choices. Almost all insurance providers, no matter if they are well-known brands or just local insurers, have an online presence. Online quotes will allow policyholders the chance to discover multiple insurance companies and check their prices. Drivers are no longer required to get quotes from just a few known insurance companies. Also, local and regional insurers can provide lower insurance rates for the same services. Accurate insurance estimates. Online quotes can only be accurate if the customers provide accurate and real info about their car models and driving history. Lying about past driving incidents can make the price estimates to be lower, but when dealing with an insurance company lying to them is useless. Usually, insurance companies will do research about a potential customer before granting him coverage. Online quotes can be sorted easily.
