Repeat Hawks as table tennis champions

The Table -Tennis Championships of Rhode Island High School were held in Manville and Bishop Hendricken would repeat itself as champion.
The Hawks ended the regular season with a 11-0 record and would go 5-0 at the tournament and beat the Tolpoort in the final, 3-0.
Alex Hopkins van Hendricken won a 2-0 (11-5, 11-4) victory over Luke Goodine van Toll Gate to give the Hawks the early benefit. Braiden Sawyer then won a 2-1 (11-3, 10-12, 11-9) victory over Will Goodine van Toll Gate. Alex Roberts van Hendricken came from behind to win 2-1 (13-15, 11-8, 11-6) about Parker Weldy to conquer the championship.
The Teamtafeltafel championships have been taking place in Rhode Island since 2016, but have been expanded in recent years to also record teams from Massachusetts and Connecticut.
Rhode Island has a rich table tennis history, in which the Rhode Island Table Tennis Association Champions mentioned all the way back to 1937. Brown University has one of the most competitive collegial programs in the country, while more secondary school teams than ever compete. Hendricken has 50 players in his program.
HENDRICKEN -Coach Steve Hopkins has been a key figure in the expansion of the sport in Rhode Island in the last decade and hopes to bring the Varsity level in local high schools one day in a day. Hopkins believes that it is attractive that it is relatively cheap for field table tennis teams and it is a sport that can be played by people of all the skills. The Ri Table Tennis Association also has a 501 (C) 3 that repeats the tables to schools that look for them.
