Chennai (Tamil Nadu) [India]March 21 (ANI): Albin Ingektrom and Bhowmick Divyanshi arrived as striking artists on day 3 of the Dream Sports Championship U15 Table Tennis Tournament in Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium, as a group phase action intensified over multiple tables, according to the DSC press report.
In the boys' competition, group 6 swung by group 6 with a perfect 3-0 record, which sent Adhrith D and Mondal Himon Kumar on Commando Mode. Kantanut Petsunthad corresponded to this dominance in group 4, where he won Straight set against Mahalanabish Gem and Nayak Eshaan.
Group 3 produced the most dramatic encounters of the day, with Supptureddy Trishal Raj Kumar who pointed 3-2 in a thriller along Kashyap Abheek. Aaron Nguyen also fought back to achieve a 3-2 victory against the Sinai Caro Chandan in the same group.
Ritvik Gupta continued his impressive form in group 1 and registered convincing victories over Tulsani Prateek and Mugunthan. Meanwhile, Mandal Bishhal, Nawarange Atharva and Rawwat Sahil have kept perfect records in their respective groups.
On the girls' side, Bhowmick Divyanshi group G1 dominated with emphatic 3-0 wins against Chatterjee Mouboni and Satya Aspathi. Ainaz Adilgereyeva was equally impressive in Group G4 and won all competitions without dropping a set.
The game of the day came from Group G5, where Ray Ahona saved a remarkable comeback of two sets to beat Singh Hiya 3-2. Later she survived Qinle Xia in another five-set marathon.
Karmarkar Swara provided further excitement in Group G6 with successive comeback victories against Das Anwesha and Laurynne Cabardo. Elsewhere, Muralidharan Ananya Group G2 checked, while Paul Prateeti wiped her group G3 matches, including a crucial 3-0 victory against former group leader Jitnada Unjit.
With now completed group promotions, the tournament enters the knock -out phase, where these impressive artists will fight for the U15 championship titles. (ANI)
