Mens Tennis pushes Win Streak to Five – Stanford Cardinal
Blacksburg, va. No. 8 Stanford Mens Tennis took a road victory in ACC Play and fell no. 63 Virginia Tech, 4-0, in Burrows-Burleson Tennis Center. The cardinal earns his fifth consecutive victory and improves this season to 13-4 and 5-2 in the ACC.
Stanford Rally to win twice and showed his resilience to take a 1-0 lead. Harsh Hemang Parikh and Alex Razeghi opened with a 6-2 victory over Hof three, while the duo of Kyle Kang and Henry von der Schulenburg gathered of a 5-1 deficit, which saved four match points in the trial, to win in court two, 7-6 (2).
The cardinal claimed to play his will in singles and won all six first sets. Kyle Kang doubled the programs to 2-0 with a 6-4, 6-3 victory over Court Two, while Max Basing made the score on 3-0 with a 6-1, 6-4 victory in the top position. Alex Razeghi achieved his third game of the season and scored the winning point at the court four, 6-4, 6-4.
