Freedom Fitness Property Plans PickleBall -Expansion, Renovations
Jonathan Moore, general manager of the Fitness Gym at the 2336 Old Orchard Road in Jackson, said that he and his co-owners of the fitness of the gym themselves are described pickleball boys. They met by playing the sport and it is a decisive characteristic of the gym they are during expansion.
The gym currently has eight courts and its ownership is working on adding a whole building full of new with better lighting and more spectator chairs. Moore said this would open somewhere in April. It is the first of various planned renovations at Freedom Fitness.
As soon as the pickleball rights were done, would concentrate here and expand the gym, Moore said.
An All-PURPOSE training area has various forms of cardio and weightlifting equipment. The gym used to be a baseball training facility, so this part contains grass on the ground. Extensive nets are reused as safety nets around the pickleball rights benches.
Moore said he wants to remove a few of the existing courts to build two group classrooms. He also wants to add a social space as soon as the current renovations are complete where he can include televisions, banks, cornhole games and table tennis.
