Ladies Tennisdowns Davidson 4-3
“Our players today showed many fights in our first outdoor match of the spring season”, Broadbent Family Ladies Tennis Head Coach Lucie Schmidhauser said. “We came out with a lot of energy in Doubles. Hannah and Gabby played disciplined Doubles, showing off their strength tennis and accurately net game. De Beren started the competition with high intensity and deserved victories in the first and third double. On the third line, senior Gabby Soliman and second -year -old Hannah Shen Post a fast 6-1 finish about Davidsons Alex Rodehorst and Lilly Dwyer. On the first line, seniors Addison Ahlstrom And Lindsey Hofflander Earned a 6-3 victory over Kavya Patel and Daniela Porges from the Wildcats. Brown's two victories allowed them to conquer the double point and to go in Singles with a lead over Davidson.
“In Singles, Annie and Dani did great work in their game plan and performed when it was necessary to put their matches away in two sets. Brown and Davidson split the singles competitions, each achieving three victories. The wildcats took lines one, two and three, while the bears wipe lines four, five and six. Davidson evenly the playing field after winning their first victory of the day in First Singles. Kavya Patel defeated Ahlstrom in two sets (6-1, 6-1). Brown bounced back in the fourth rule when he was second -year Anne Realized Langford in two sets (6-2, 6-4). De Beren continued to expand their lead after second -year Dani Ben-Aabraham Vesta Ellie Hammond6-3, 6-2 on the fifth rule. First -year Nice hu took the competition for the bears on the sixth line.
