Penn State 2025 wide recipient preview Spring training football

Well, it is the position preview that you have waited to give the most comments: wide recipient. For the second consecutive year, Penn State goes to spring and has seen his most productive Wideout departure via the transfer portal. Like the previous two spring exercises, the Lions go the Lions in the spring session in the hope of finding answers with a position group that was in the front and central in Penn State that fails in its biggest games. The somewhat established: Devonte Ross (Sr.), Kyron Hudson (R-Sr.), Liam Clifford (Sr.)

Let's start with Clifford before we go to the transfers. Liam has seen a lot of time on the field in recent years and he has made some splash games, especially in a home win against UCLA last October. He had 18 catches for 236 Yards and a score in 2024 and although he was announced with his parents on Senior Day against Maryland, he quietly returned to the Lions schedule and numbers to see many repetitions.

Now, move to Ross and Hudson. They come to Penn State who want to play with a big quarterback and solidify their concept stock. Hudson is a physical receiver on the outside that can make disputed catches. He had almost 500 meters and three scores, including one against Penn State, with USC last season. In the meantime, Ross will bring speed to Andy Kotelnickis attack. He was Troys a year ago a prominent recipient and grabbed 76 catches for more than 1,000 meters and 11 touchdowns. It is clear that it is a big step in the competition, but Ross could be the Gamebreaker in the open field that Penn State has not had since Jahon Dotson.

The possible contributors: Tyseer Denmark (R-Fr.), Kaden Saunders (R-Jr.), Anthony Ivey (R-Jr.)

All three of these boys have been on the field for the Lions. Denmark caught a salt-in-the-wound Touchdown against Maryland last November, while Ivey had a few goals in a Purdue route. Saunders came to Penn State as a valued recruit, but simply couldn't stay on the field. He returned early last season, but did not play a snap at the recipient as he wounded. Denmark has the most buzz and can easily jump into the first group with a good spring.

The need to get healthy: Peter Gonzalez (R-Fr.), Josiah Brown (R-Fr.)

Both Gonzalez and Brown came to Penn State with distinctions, but both missed or recovering of injuries last season. Spring will be the first time to see a long glance at the two to see where they fit this attack.

The Newcomers: Koby Howard (Fr.), Matt Outten (Fr.), Lyrick Samuel (Fr.)

Here are your 2025 recruits to look at. Samuel and Outten Figure as longshots to play a lot in 2025, but Howard has had a little buzz early to winter training. Earlier this week James Franklin met the media and said it was difficult to gauge only broad recipients through training sessions alone. So, be aware of these three to see if there is any hope that one could contribute towards the end of autumn.

The depth: Logan Cunningham (R-Jr.), Donte Nastasi (R-So.), Ethan Black (R-So.), Aaron Enterline (R-Fr.)

Here are four boys who will probably run routes against the fourth quarter of the Blue White Game. Perhaps they will also agree with special teams.

The collection meals

It is a complete reset for Penn State in the position. Beyond are the aforementioned Evans and Wallace, which Juilan Fleming has exhausted his suitability. With Penn, Talent, depth and experience puts on all other positions on the attack, the pressure will again be on the Wideouts to produce.
