Major League cricket on the way to Oakland Coliseum
The Oakland Coliseum, the former house of Major League Baseballs Athletics, will organize nine games during the Major League Cricket season 2025.
The games mark MLCS the first visit to the west coast of the US. The competition has projected that the competitions will deliver a direct economic boost of $ 3 million (2.3 m/2.8 million) to Oakland.
The Coliseum organizes seven game days and nine competitions, starting on June 12 and will continue until June 18. The stadium will be adjusted to accommodate professional cricket matches, with specialized drop-in turf-wickets that must be installed to meet international standards.
After the matches in Oakland, the season of June 20-29 is moving to Grand Prairie, Texas before going to Broward County Stadium in Florida from 1-6 July. A total of 34 games are held over the season.

Last year, the last season of Coliseums as the home of the ashes marked, with the team that went to a new margin in Las Vegas in 2028.
The Coliseum also organized the NFLS Raiders until 2019, when the team moved to Las Vegas.
After the departure of the AS, USL Championship Soccer Club Oakland Roots, it had been a deal to play in the Coliseum from 2025. It marks the teams that return to the city after an absence of three years.
In October, the city of Oakland reached a changed agreement with the African American Sports and Entertainment Group (Aaseg) to speed up the process for development work in the Colosseum.
Aaseg is planning to perform an important renovation of the Colosseum site, which also includes the Oakland Arena. The group will develop thousands of new units of affordable homes and raised outdoor space, while retaining the Oakland Arena.
