Aruna is confronted with Yi-hsin on WTT Chennai
Nigeria Table Tennis Star Quadri Aruna will be confronted with the Chinese young person and world No. 58 Feng Yi-hsin in round 32 of the Maiden WTT powder Chennai in India, Punch Sports Extra reports.
Yi-Hsin appeared on Thursday as Arunas opponent after beating Belgium's Adrien Rassenfosse 3-0 (11-6, 11-8, 11-9) in just 20 minutes during their round of 64 collision in the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium.
Aruna is one of the top gentlemen singles players in the event and was signed by the round of 32 and will now be braced for a difficult test against the 22-year-old.
The Nigerian came in the competition as a replacement for the German star Dimitrij OVTcharov.
The world number 18 and its African rival, Egypt Omar Assar, were confirmed last week for the $ 275,000 tournament.
The 36-year-old played two WTT events this year.
