Oxford & District Table Tennis: Forum A on Verge of Title
With a week of the season, forum A at the top of the table won on sets after their main competition, British Rail and Forum B, was confronted with an unfortunate draw for both teams.
British Rail scraped a 6-4 victory, but the consolation point of Forum B raised the balance in favor of Forum A.
Forum A now only needs one victory to definitively secure the championship.
Elsewhere, Lewis Waddup Rutherford A led to an 8-2 victory over Bicester A.
Forum C Lighted Clubmats Forum D Lighted with another 8-2 victory.
In Division Two, Forum E held their place at the top and achieved a draw against two-man Rutherford B.
Holton A closed the gap with a 7-3 victory over Forum F, helped by Trebels from Stuart Pringle and Antonina Bohach.
Forum G struggled and fell on a 10-0 defeat against Forum H and a 9-1 loss for Ral B.
Bicester B has probably avoided relegation, with victories in both their home and road races against Holton B.
In Division three, Vikings B achieved an important 10-0 win over Bicester D.
On Sunday, March 9, the Town VS Kick Tennis Competition Town NIPT Play Oxford University and ended 23-18, filled in an event with exciting competitions and striking versions of Alexander Sheppard and Antonina Bohach.
