Daily Hampshire Gazette – NCAA Div. 1 Mens Ice Hockey: Umass Stuns Minnesota 5-4 in OT, Progress to Regional Final
Aydar Suniev scored in the extension to send the Umass Hockey team along Minnesota, 5-4, during the regional semi-final of the NCAA tournament on Thursday in Fargo, North Dakota.

Souliere then came back to the game and Dellelce scored on a shot from the point that changed direction from a Golden Gophers stick, giving the minutes their first lead of the game, 4-3, at 3:07 PM.

Finalist of Minnesotas Hobey Jimmy Snugdoud closed the scoring frenzy in the last frame with a fireball that went through Umass goalkeeper Michael Hrabals Five Hole, who forced overtime on 4-4.
