Ho Chi Minh City investigates video of men who block alley to play table tennis
Authorities in Ho Chi Minh City investigate a group of men who have blocked a rise in Go VAP District to play table tennis, causing vehicles to enter or leave the area.
A video of the incident began to circulate on a large scale on social media on Friday morning, and showed that four men played table tennis in the middle of an alley, while a green broken over the path, blocked the traffic.
The incident reportedly took place around 5:55 am on the same day in Alley 417 on Tan Son Street in Ward 12.
In the images, a driver who tried to leave De Steeg came against the obstruction and registered the unusual scene.
The men did not seem surprised when they continued their play and show little worries that the vehicle was trying to pass.
Although the driver tried to maneuver through the narrow space, the group did not stop.
Frustrated by the situation, the driver shared the video online and drew the attention of local residents and officials.
Traffic police in Go VAP District began to coordinate with local authorities to verify the case.
An officer said that Police intended to call on the persons involved for interrogation and to determine appropriate measures.
