Oregon Ducks was expected to be 3 of the top 10 football perspectives of the Nation by the National Expert
It is still early in the recruitment cycle of 2026 and there is still a lot to be determined before the dust settles in the early signing period of December.
But Rivals National Director of Recruiting Adam Gorney recently took on a big task, predictive where the future landing places of the entire Rivals Top 250 prospects (predict Nos. 1-50).
Admittedly, those predictions are a mix of the current snapshot – “This is what would happen today if 'player X' would bind himself – and a projection of the future, but Gorney is one of the best in the industry.
It is therefore a fascinating tool for projecting the future recruitment classes of some of the best schools in the country.
And it turns out that it is very good news for Oregon.
Gorney projects the ducks to land three of the top 10 prospects in the country, including the best recruitment in the country, Nixa (Missouri) Five-star attacking Tackle Jackson Cantwell.
