ICC creates Fonds for the displaced woman of Afghanistan

The banished female cricketers of Afghanistan received a large boost on Sunday, in which the administrative body of the competition announced a fund and Task Force to support them.
Afghanistan had 25 contracted female cricketers in 2020, most of whom were resettled in Australia with humanitarian visas due to limitations at home under the Taliban government hardline government.
After the board meeting in Harare, the International Cricket Council said that it had joined the Cricketboards of India, England and Australia to support their career.

The ICC will set up a dedicated fund to offer direct monetary help, so that these cricketers have the resources they need to keep following the game they love, “said it in a statement, without giving financial details.
Australia and England have excluded bilateral cricket with Afghanistan on the issue of women's rights and only play in ICC events such as world cups and Champions Trophy.
“We are deeply committed to promoting inclusiveness and ensuring that every cricket player has the chance to shine, regardless of their circumstances,” said ICC chairman Jay Shah.
