Michigan State Hockey ends the year ranked in the top 10 of the rankings of USCHO.com for a second consecutive season
For a second consecutive season, Michigan State Hockey landed in the top 10 of the final ranking.
The final Uscho.com poll For the 2024-25 season was released on Monday, with the Spartans entering number 6. This was the second consecutive year that the Spartans finished the season in the top 10, with Michigan State Landing at number 5 last year.
The state of Michigan was the second highest team of the Big ten, with Penn State One-place ahead on No. 5. The Nittany Lions reached the first Frozen Four Offere Four-what-what led to their higher finish in the final ranking. Minnesota (no. 9), Ohio State (no. 11) and Michigan (no. 17) were the other Big Ten teams that landed in the last poll.
Michigan State was in the top five all season, but an early exit in the NCAA tournament ended their year in disappointment. The Spartans claimed both the regular season and the Big Ten -Titels tournament, but again failed to reach the frozen four as a number 1 seed in their region.
