Another year, another Warmen -Scholen cricket player of the year awarded to a student from a private school. No student of a non-paying school has ever been awarded the Warmen Award since his Inception in 2008. Last year I was won to share my concern that the price and the Almanacks -unity to identify children from the state system that was worth such recognition was symptomatic of exclusivity of crickets. I suggested that a more suitable name for the prize could be (independent) schools of the year.
And so I was appalled to read in your article Lawrence Booth, Warmdens editor, Bemoaning Indias Dominance of the Mens Game (Warmen Calls World Test Championship a mess and argues for reform, April 21). When repeating his criticism of the Board of Control for Cricket in India, while ignoring exactly the same problem in the UK and the more money corresponds to more opportunities in cricket, the article was missing.

I was relieved to read the article by Jonathan Lie about partisan punditry (pundits show-off partition reflects footballs embraced from fan-centric populism, April 22) and to hear Jonathan Wilson's similar granches on the Football Weekly Podcast (April 21). I was sure that it couldn't just be it that it was fed up with looking at the Thebanter brigade that dominates the football broadcasts.
Despite the fact that I had to express a considerable annual reimbursement to see my team play on three subscriptions, my experience with watching football is limited to coordination immediately before the kick -off and the coordination as soon as the game ends to avoid the absolute tirade of Banter. Unfortunately, the approach of both Sky and BT seems to be to make content to be cut for social media. The concept that someone may watch a football match for the simple joy of watching a football match has gone out of the window.
Football has a lot to learn from cricket. Michael Atherton and Nasser Hussain recently spoke on their Sky Podcast about how less is when commentators call great sports moments.
