Former Spud, Mr. Hockey winner Mason Kraft taken over by WHL's Wenatchee Wild – Inforum
Moorhead Moorhead Spuds Boys Hockey Striking Mason Kraft goes west.
Kraft was picked up by the Wennatachee Wild from the Western Hockey League, the team announced on Thursday 8 May.
His takeover came as part of an exchange between the Victoria Royals for a fourth round pick and 2027 third round pick. The WHL is one of the three competitions that are part of the Canadian Hockey League.
The Mr. Hockey receiver led the spuds last season with 95 points on 46 goals and 49 assists in 31 games. Kraft recorded 68 goals and 105 helps Moorhead in his three -year career.

Kraft was a difference maker in Moorheads First Boys Hockey State Championship in March. He scored nine goals and 11 assists to lead all scorers in the State Tournament.
Moorhead ended the season 28-2-1.
After the State Tournament, Kraft joined the Cedar Rapids Roughriders of the USHL. He had one goal for Roughriders in 10 games.
The WHL concluded his US Priority Draft for players in 2010 on Thursday. Moorhead had selected six players from his Bantam AA team and Grand Forks had picked one player.
In November, the NCAA Division I Council voted to allow CHL players to compete in NCAA -Hockey from 1 August. CHL was not taken into account before the decision because of the NCAAS amateurism policy.
