Fantasy Football Trade Analyzer for three running backs

Published

on

Orchestrating successful trades can be a critical part of a fantasy football winning season. However, finding and negotiating such deals with grumpy or stingy allies often serves as a roadblock. People become obsessed with winning the trade or are too committed to the players they called in to send one away and may be wrong if that player blows up statistically.

With this column, I hope I can offer some players, while also reviewing some recent trades with that player to discuss relative value and fair offers. You shouldn’t come to this column looking for advice on how to get the better of your friends and competition buddies. If you can manage with this advice, well, good for you. Buy your friend a 4for4 subscription to stop it happening.

Ideally, however, this column will give you information and ideas to successfully negotiate trades that can put you in a better position to win your competition.

To help that goal, below each player’s recommendation, I’ve added a new section called The Market where I discuss a few trades in various Yahoo leagues to show examples of what the player was really going for. Obviously, these don’t say you can get the same value, but it gives you ideas of what you might be able to offer.

With that in mind, let’s take a look at a trade-off, trade-away, and hold-back walk-back after a wild Week 1 of the 2020 NFL season.

Marlon Mack(the Colts starter) tore his Achilles in week 1, but give me a few sentences to explain my reasoning here. Design analysts loved Taylor’s athletic profile and hasty production, but almost universally viewed his passing play as anegative, weakness, orred flag. When Mack left the game with his injury, Taylor saw six goals and caught all six for 67 yards.Philip Riverslikes to focus on his running backs, and Taylor is about to see a huge leap in playtime, goals and overall odds. He’s got RB1 upside for the rest of the season, and you should try to get him now before he starts putting in bigger numbers for the Colts. It’s certainly a concern that Hines is stealing more host work in the future, but the outlook for Taylor is being heavily sought after. “Data-reactid =” 29 “> This may seem obvious as Marlon Mack (the Colts starter) ripped his Achilles in Week 1, but give me a few sentences to explain my reasoning here. tweetedthis from Tuesday night, but I turned it aroundAdam Thielenin a PPR competition for Jonathan Taylor, in part because I was strong in wide receiver and Taylor came from a team that was strong in running back. I thought the trade was fairly fair and was thrilled to add Taylor to my roster. Some other trades involving Taylor were:Keenan Allenand Ronald Jones for Taylor; Jonathan Taylor forMichael Gallup; Taylor and Golladay to Saquon Barkley; Taylor for Calvin Ridley; Taylor and Davante Adams for DJ Moore and Josh Jacobs. I, as noted by my profession above, am a fan of Taylor for strong trades with wide receivers as long as the move doesn’t paralyze your selection. “Data-reactid =” 31 “>The market: I tweeted this from Tuesday night, but I flipped Adam Thielen in a PPR competition for Jonathan Taylor, in part because I was strong in wide receiver and Taylor came from a team that was strong in running back. Trade Nick Chubb, RB, Cleveland Browns

Chubb is a fantastic back with enormous scope. Unfortunately, it is not used in a way that benefits the fantasy football managers. Last year, Chubb got off to a scorching start until Kareem Hunt joined the Browns, when Chubbs usage and snapshare declined. That trend continued in a disturbing fashion in 2020 as Hunt played 49% of Chubbs snaps for 48% and out-hit him 17 to 11. Yes, the Browns were in a negative game script that will prop up Hunt for his pass-catching role, but the disturbing thing about this split is that in the first half, when the game was still relatively close, Hunt had eight chances (six rushes, two goals) to seven opportunities (six rushes, one target) saw for Chubb. This is a split backfield, plain and simple, and in half or full PPR score formats, it favors Hunt for fantasy. Chubb still has name value, so the time to talk to him could be now if people are still holding on to the game script story and responsible for Chubb’s disappointing Week 1.

Hold Austin Ekeler, RB, Chargers

Ekeler is in a similar boat to Chubb as his backfield was frighteningly more divided than fantasy players had hoped for this summer. Adding fuel to the panic fire is that Ekeler saw one (1!) Target in Week 1, with Tyrod Taylor replacing Philip Rivers. Ekeler averaged 5.75 goals per game last season and 62% of his fantasy points in 2019 came from receiving work (in full PPR score). It is not surprising to trade Ekeler at this point as this was quite a game for Ekeler to start and he did not, thanks to the lack of passing game work and the involvement of Joshua Kelley. The reason Ekeler has a hold is that there are favorable games on the line that could increase his passing volume (Chiefs, Panthers, Buccaneers, Saints). Ekelers’s value could increase in that run for a trade, or normalize his usage. But the risk remains that his change to quarterback will have turned much of his fantasy upside down.

Unlike physical insurance agencies, websites don't have a specific schedule and they are available at any time. Drivers that have busy working schedules, can compare quotes from anywhere and at any time, even at midnight. Multiple choices. Almost all insurance providers, no matter if they are well-known brands or just local insurers, have an online presence. Online quotes will allow policyholders the chance to discover multiple insurance companies and check their prices. Drivers are no longer required to get quotes from just a few known insurance companies. Also, local and regional insurers can provide lower insurance rates for the same services. Accurate insurance estimates. Online quotes can only be accurate if the customers provide accurate and real info about their car models and driving history. Lying about past driving incidents can make the price estimates to be lower, but when dealing with an insurance company lying to them is useless.
