Sex-taunted high school hockey player reveals a sign and says she is “ a dude & amp; # 39;
A Pennsylvania high school hockey player was taunted by opposing supporters last Wednesday with a sign urging her to "reveal" her gender and chants calling her "dude" when a league game in Lehigh Valley.
Alyssa Wruble, the only girl on the Northampton Area High School college hockey team, playing a championship game against the Parkland ice hockey team when she heard the songs attack her gender . Alyssa's aunt, Donna Bloss, posted the incident on Facebook on Saturday and included photos of a sign that said "Alyssa gender reveal?" with signs for men and women.
"The level of unsportsmanlike conduct during these several championship games was mind-boggling," Bloss said in his article. "I wondered whether or not I should put this there for fear of upsetting my niece even more, but she knows it was done out of sheer jealousy."

17 year old athlete told Fox 29 Tuesday that the songs were so loud that it must have been the whole student section participating.
"When I skated, all I heard was Wruble, you are a guy, and apparently my uncle and aunt and also my father heard them say that I had a penis" , Alyssa told the news channel.
Alyssa, who scored two goals during the match, said she wanted an apology from those responsible for the sign.
"Any girl should be allowed to be as good as a guy," she said. "It doesn't matter their gender. If they want to play a sport, you should let them do it, you shouldn't put them down for wanting to do something they like."
Parkland Ice Hockey President Mike Byelick resigned from office following the incident and said the team did not tolerate the sign, according to Lehigh Valley Live. The team did not immediately respond to a request for comment from NBC News.
Parkland High School and Parkland School District apologized to Alyssa for any pain the sign inflicted on her and her family in a statement posted on the school's Facebook page on Sunday.
"There is no room for unsportsmanlike conduct or personal harassment in our school, or anywhere, and everyone involved will be disciplined in accordance with Parkland policy and procedures," said school.
Alyssa and her family were not immediately available to comment on NBC News on Wednesday.
