Africas Top-ranked player Aruna Quadri was kicked out of the action for three weeks, reports Sports Extra.

Quadri suffered a thigh injury at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic qualifier in Tunisia, which saw him withdraw from his last qualifying match against Hman Adam due to the injury.

Therefore, he finished third in Group A and has not yet qualified for the Olympics, but has a chance to qualify for the Olympics through the standings.

The injury will also see him miss the World Tour of the International Table Tennis Federation with the Qatar Open in Doha.
