Once you’ve opened and edited a G Suite document or other file with a shortcut in Chrome, there’s one last thing to consider. In this way, files created this way are saved.

Like all G Suite files, these files are usually stored on Google Drive. However, when you create it using a URL shortcut, it doesn’t save it where you want it. Instead, Google usually just saves it to Drive without much concern for the organization. However, it’s easy to move the file to the location where the user actually saves it.
