Galaxy Fold 2 uses Galaxy Z branding

Samsung will not call the next foldable smartphone the Galaxy Fold 2, but instead the Galaxy Z Fold 2. The company will use the “Galaxy Z” brand announced earlier this year on the Galaxy Z Flip.

Basically, this means that all foldable smartphones are under the “Galaxy Z” brand. The Galaxy S is still for mainstream smartphones, and the Galaxy Note is for big screen and S Pen smartphones. This is not surprising given that Samsung moved the Galaxy Fold on its website into the Galaxy Z category after Samsung announced the Galaxy Z Flip in February. There were lots of tips on what Samsung was planning for the next generation foldable foldable foldable phones.

Galaxy Z Fold 2 coming next month

The Galaxy Z Fold 2 will probably be available next month at Samsung’s Unpacked event.

There have been many rumors and leaks about this device over the last few weeks. It’s cheaper than the original Galaxy Fold, including the fact that the outer display can get bigger.
