Corporate Pitch Day connects companies and innovation

The Nebraska Startup Academy (NSA) is dedicated to introducing Nebraska startups to potential business customers to accelerate proof of concept for founders building B2B solutions and foster innovation for companies. Masu.

The organization, with support from the Aksarben Foundation, will begin co-sponsoring Corporate Pitch Days with the Nebraska Tech Collaborative in 2023. According to an NSA press release, 13 companies and 36 startups participated in the 2023 Pitch Day, of which 53% had underrepresented founders.

The NSA team said it hopes to at least double the number of pitch events this year under the leadership of NSA Director of Corporate Engagement Melinda Meyer.

“We are committed to realizing the potential of the startup ecosystem,” said NSA Executive Director Charlie Cuddy. By connecting Nebraska businesses with the innovations already in our backyard, there are no limits to community and economic development.

How corporate pitch day works

The hosting company selects a group of startups that fit your current business needs and industry. The NSA team then guides you through the process of determining the desired outcome, including product feedback, pilot conversations, and customer communications. Invite-only company pitch events allow founders to present their technology to a cross-functional group of company leaders within their company in a private setting.

The goal is to add value to startup founders and corporate teams through these interactions.
