Tech company Google said it is allowing users to easily switch between different modes like editing, viewing and commenting within a slide. If you want to hide comments within a presentation or avoid accidentally editing them, you can also switch to the viewing mode. Selecting the commenting mode also hides all the options related to editing but you can still read and add comments, the tech giant explained.

To change the mode, the user must go to View > Mode and select the mode.

This feature is available to Google Workspace customers, Google Workspace Individual subscribers, and users with personal Google Accounts.

The tech giant also announced a feature that will allow users to scroll and zoom in and out of content directly from within Google Meet.

The company says this feature eliminates the need to switch tabs, allowing users to focus on delivering their presentation.

Meanwhile, Google has introduced features such as “polls, Q&A, and reactions” to its video conferencing app Meet for mobile devices to make it easier for users to interact with others during live streaming.

According to the tech giant, the update only applies to “ultra-low latency live streams,” and the standard live streaming experience will remain the same.
