Enterprise knowledge workers face numerous obstacles that impede their productivity, including information overload, manual data entry, and repetitive tasks. But how much time is saved exactly? What is the quantifiable productivity gain? To better evaluate the impact of AI assistants on enterprise productivity, we commissioned Pfeiffer Consulting to conduct a benchmarking study to analyze the efficiency and productivity gains of AI assistants across various business verticals. The study covered 16 real-world workflow scenarios in the areas of sales, HR, legal and compliance, marketing and communications, finance, and research and development.

Studies show that the Acrobat AI Assistant was, on average, four times faster than traditional methods across 16 different knowledge worker tasks. For complex tasks, such as summarizing complex safety protocols, the AI ​​Assistant saved nearly two hours. By speeding up time-consuming, repetitive tasks, studies show that the AI ​​Assistant frees up time, focus and creativity for higher-value aspects of projects. Sales: Traditionally, it would take 46 minutes to summarize a product brochure, create a short presentation, or summarize research findings in a customer email. However, with an AI assistant, the same workflow can be completed in under 12 minutes, a time saving of over 70%. HR: HR professionals spend a significant amount of time searching for information across multiple documents, such as resumes, employee records, and policy documents. For example, summarizing vacation benefits from the employee handbook took less than five minutes with an AI assistant, compared to almost 20 minutes without an AI assistant. This allows HR professionals to share information with management and employees more efficiently. Legal: Creating a legal summary from a research report traditionally took just under an hour. The AI ​​assistant reduced the time taken for this task to just under nine minutes by prompting for five key subjects and then copying and pasting the results into Word for further editing.​ This significant time saving allows legal professionals to allocate more time to other important tasks. ​ Research and Development: ​ The AI ​​assistant has significantly reduced the time spent on administrative tasks in the research and development field.
