Are you one of the Google blurred homes in Bismarck/Mandan?

Most people who have found their home, car, or even themselves blurred have a reason for it.

Alas, ultimate privacy can be snatched away in an instant by one of these dreaded things…

It's interesting and surprising how much territory these nuisances can control. To be honest, I have no idea how many of these photo vehicles are on the road, how often they are on the road, how they plan their routes. They must have a system, a method to photograph every street, every house, big and small, on the planet, even here in Bismarck and Mandan.

If someone told you that your house was blurry and you didn't notice it, you might be wondering…why?

Well, take some comfort in the fact that this isn't the first time your home has been blurry. BTW, I hate to be the bearer of even more bad news, but the blurring is permanent. According to support.google, it's been around for last year. See here.

This seems to have just happened recently, as many people have reported the same issue and I know Google just basically tells them the image has been permanently deleted.

This is odd. I never asked to blur my house and I never received a confirmation email from Google, so it seems as if someone asked to blur it without my permission. Or is it because we replaced our fence from wood to PVC, added two private property signs, and never had any solicitors? We've had problems with neighbors before (one ran into our new fence with a truck, and someone damaged the gate a little trying to pry it open), and some have harassed us with offers. I can't rule out the possibility that a neighbor was spiteful and blurred my house.

This is unacceptable and I'm not sure how this will affect the process when I sell my house in the near future. How can I respond appropriately when they ask why the house is blurred?

I really need an option to remove the blur. This image is currently from 2011, but I didn't move until 2016.

There doesn't seem to be a solution at the moment, but any help would be much appreciated.
