Uber Eats has announced the launch of its European first delivery platform, Courier Pick and Pack, where consumers are connected with an Uber Eats courier who will travel directly to the supermarket to pick up and pack their order and deliver it to their doorstep.

Susan Anderson, global head of Uber Grocery and Retail at Uber, said: “It's clear that grocery shopping trends have fundamentally changed. Our busy lifestyles mean that we are making physical trips to the supermarket for big purchases less frequently, preferring to rely on apps like Uber Eats to order fresh groceries when we need them.”

Northfork will provide the software system that makes about 8,000 recipes available for purchase on Cookidoo, Thermomix's official online platform.

The initiative will benefit Cookidoo's 450,000 subscribers in Spain, with food retailer El Corte Ingls offering an assortment of grocery items linked to Cookidoo recipes.

Users will now enjoy the convenience of being able to purchase all the ingredients they need for their chosen recipe from El Corte Ingls, aiming to make meal preparation easier and more efficient than ever before.

Chinese e-commerce giant JD.com has announced the launch of JD.Vision, a native Apple Vision Pro app that offers an immersive shopping experience powered by spatial computing.

It debuted on the last day of the JD 618 Grand Promotion.

Ahead of the official release of Apple Vision Pros in China on June 28, JD.Vision offers a wide range of home appliances, electronics and furniture from brands including Samsung, Casarte, Harman Kardon, MORROR ART and Honeywell.
