The Google Graveyard is filled with exciting, useful apps that Google has discontinued over the years, as well as apps that no one really wanted. The company's latest graveyard denizens are useful apps that clearly didn't catch on as well as Google hoped.

Stack: PDF Scanner, designed to help users scan and manage documents, is officially being phased out in September. But before you get all upset about Stack's retirement, it's worth noting that Google has added document scanning and management to Google Drive.

“Starting the week of September 23, 2024, we will end support for Stack: PDF Scanner by Google, the legacy PDF scanner and document organizer whose functionality is built into the Google Drive app,” Google said in a support page.

If you're still using Stack (and it was a great app), you have until September 23 to export your documents to Google Drive, or they'll be lost. Google has made this process easier by providing a tool that lets you easily export your Stack documents to Google Drive.

Here's a quick guide on how to use Google's tool to export all your Stack documents to Google Drive.

Open the Stack app. Tap the Account button. Tap Settings. Tap Export all documents to Drive. Tap Export and confirm that you want to send the files to Google Drive. Go to Google Drive and look for the green folder called “Stack” to see your documents.

That's all it takes. Your files will be transferred from the classic Google app to Drive in just a few minutes. September is fast approaching, so don't forget to get it done – don't wait too long and lose any important files.

You can also export only selected files, but this may take a long time if there are multiple files. Here are the steps:
