Verizon's new V logo emerges as lines blur between 5G, Fios and streaming

Verizon introduced new commercials, replacing its checkmark logo with a red and yellow V and a matching reimagined tagline: “Can you hear me now?” It also unveiled updated home internet plans, now called myHome, that include a number of service bundles, including Disney+ and Netflix, as well as cloud storage options and a Walmart+ subscription.

The spots feature more than just conversations, showcasing streaming video, taking TikToks, gaming and FaceTime, underscoring the point that the connections have become so much more than they were when the campaign began in 2002. (No mention is made of former Verizon employee Paul Marcarelli, who moved to Sprint in 2016.)

Meanwhile, MyHome's services, like myPlan's, are currently priced at $10 per month for each service, and the company says it will also launch Apple One later this summer, which will bundle iCloud Plus, Apple Arcade, Apple TV Plus and Apple Music (though the price hasn't been announced). It also offers its own cloud storage service, which costs $10 per month.

Internet plans will most likely be 5G or LTE fixed wireless plans, but start at $35.99 per month if you sign up for a phone plan and autopay. If you're lucky, you might get a 5G plan with speeds of 300Mbps (up to 1 Gigabit with the 5G Home Plus service). Verizon says its LTE plans will give you download speeds of up to 50Mbps. This price also applies to Fios plans.
