Google event on August 13: what to expect

This year's Pixel event (Made by Google 2024) will take place at Google's headquarters in California (Mountain View) instead of the usual New York City. This is actually a bit of a throwback, as the first Pixel event was held in San Francisco before moving to the East Coast.

The event itself (the keynote) will begin at 10am Pacific time. This year, Google sent out invites to the event 1.5 months in advance, which is a bit more advance notice than last year, when they only sent out invites a month in advance.

What's in the Google event invitation this year?

The invite for this year's Pixel event seems to suggest that Google will focus on three things: artificial intelligence (AI), the Android operating system, and of course, new Pixel devices.
