Using events with external Google Calendar – Support

Nextcloud version: 28.0.6 Operating system and version: Windows 11

Hi, I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction.

I'd like to import my personal Google Calendar as a read-only external calendar and have my Calendar check against it when showing free time slots for business calls, for example, but the space below the additional calendars to check for conflicts seems to be empty, so I can't select my Google Calendar.

Is this functionality not currently available for external calendars or do you have any suggestions on how to proceed?

You didn't import the calendar, you subscribed to it, which is different. As far as I know, a subscribed calendar only appears, but you can't access the events as you would like.

Ah, I see the difference, thanks. However, this means that it only works if you import a Google Calendar and use it only within Nextcloud, because it is not synced with the original calendar. I would like to be able to continue using my Google Calendar on my phone for example.
