PALO ALTO – July 25, 2024 – Cooley today announced that David Wang will join the company as chief innovation officer. Based in Palo Alto, Wang will help define and drive the company's global innovation strategy. Wang is expected to join the company in late August 2024.

Mr. Wang joins Cooley from Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati LLP, where he served as Chief Innovation Officer. As a leading expert on the impact of technology innovation and transformation, he has pioneered programs focused on digitalization, automation, artificial intelligence and data science. Mr. Wang has practiced corporate and securities law for over 10 years, focusing on general corporate and transactional issues for private and public companies. Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Wang was an entrepreneur.

At Cooley, Wang will be responsible for identifying and implementing innovative strategies, technologies and business processes that enhance and differentiate the firm's broad range of services, ensuring the firm remains a standard-bearer for innovation in the legal profession.
