Google Dublin works at home on a possible coronavirus
As of Friday, it appeared that a googler from Zurich had a positive COVID-19 test result. A Dublin employee today presented "flu-like symptoms" and Google is showing "an abundance of caution" due to the coronavirus by asking staff to work from home on Tuesday.
according to to Adrian Weckler from Irish independent, Google Ireland is taking precautionary measures so that Dublin teams work from home tomorrow. It is in response to a person who has flu-like symptoms. However, it is important to note that it has not been confirmed that it is COVID-19. Ireland has so far had only one coronavirusCase.
The Dublin office is Google’s headquarters in the European Union and has 8,000 employees as of end of 2018.
