CoD: Black Ops Cold War Zombie Mode supports cross-play and cross-progression

After elaborating on Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War zombie mode, publisher Activision confirmed that the game type supports cross-play.

In a detailed blog post revealing information about zombies, Activision said the mode team “can form across platforms and generations, making this cooperative mode available in cross-play for the first time in franchise history.” I will. It’s not the same as checking cross-progression explicitly, but the fact that Battle Pass progression and loadouts are carried over between modes seems to indicate that zombie data isn’t associated with a particular console.

Still, cross-progression support is a zombie feature, based on how Battle Pass progression is handled in all the latest Call of Duty games (Modern Warfare, Warzone, and soon Black Ops Cold War). It is no exaggeration to say that.
