An Indian among the winners of the “best” night mode photos in the world
New Delhi: Mitsun Soni of Mumbai was one of six winning Night Mode Photo Challenge iPhone photographers who captured the rich red color of a tree in city buildings, Apple announced on Tuesday.
IPhone photographers around the world participated in the night mode photo challenge, sharing their captivating night mode images taken on iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max.
A jury of judges selected six winning photos from thousands of submissions around the world.
Soni took the winning image on iPhone 11 Pro.
"This one is blowing me. I don't know where that rich, deep red light comes from on the tree. It almost looks like a UFO sitting above the tree, just outside the tree. Absolutely beautiful composition too, "said Tyler Mitchell, one of the panel judges.
"The rich red color of the tree and the ground gives this image a supernatural quality. When associated with the night sky, it looks like an image from a science fiction film," added Arem Duplessis.
The winning images will be featured in a gallery on apple.com, Apple Instagram and will appear globally on billboards.
