The flagship event of Philly Tech Week 2020 will be the city's Nerd Met gala
Dust your cape and add a laser to your blazer: the Signature Philly Tech Week 2020 event will finish the week in style on Friday 8 May at Cira Green, the park of our city in the sky.
The Signature event is the closing evening of Philly Tech Week 2020 presented by Comcast. During this annual shindig, the tech and innovation community will come together to celebrate Philly Tech Week with an evening filled with dance, demos and dynamite connections. This event is for everyone: nerds, costumes, officials, cosplay enthusiasts and more. If you've never been to this event, imagine a cocktail mixed with an interactive tech demonstration – it's exciting, challenging and just plain fun. In addition, there will be an open bar with free wine and beer.
If you thought last year's Signature event was impressive, prepare yourself for a unique experience by encouraging yourself to showcase your inner cosplayer. For the dress code, the category is reality Nerd Met Gala. We want to see the wearable technology and the costumes you can't wait to get out of your closet. We channel the energy of the loved one Philly Geek Awards and take it to the next level for the 10th annual PTW.
