HMD today announces six new midrange Nokia phones with prices ranging from 75 (about $ 90) to 349 (about $ 415). At the top are the X-series, which consists of X10 and X20, the G-series G10 and G20, and finally the C-series entry-level C10 and C20.
The HMD pitch for these phones is long enough to provide support, because even the cheapest C-series phones receive a two-year quarterly security update. G-series phones, on the other hand, receive two years of Android OS updates and three years of monthly security updates. Finally, the X-Series gets a 3-year OS update, a 3-year monthly security update, and an extended warranty that means the HMD will be covered for 3 years in much of the release market.

The top of the lineup of six phones is the X20, and the HMD states that it will be priced at 349 (299.99, about $ 415) worldwide. It has a 6.67-inch 1080p display and a 32-megapixel selfie camera drilling cutout in the top center. On the back is a circular camera bump that contains a 64-megapixel main camera and four cameras. 5 megapixel ultra wide, 2 megapixel depth camera, and 2 megapixel macro.
Internally, the X20 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 and 4,470mAh batteries, with 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage. Includes a 3-year OS update that runs Android 11 out of the box and states that the HMD will move to Android 14. Security is handled by a fingerprint sensor mounted on the side, and there is also a dedicated Google Assistant button on the left. I’ve been using the Nokia X20 for the past week and here you can read my direct impressions.

A step back from the X20 is the 309 Nokia X10 (249.99, about $ 367). It shares much of the DNA of its older siblings. It also runs on the Snapdragon 480 with a 4,470mAh battery and has a 6.67-inch 1080p display. However, it can be used with slightly lower specifications. It has a minimum of 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, and the main and selfie cameras have low resolutions of 48 and 8 megapixels, respectively.
Next up is the G-series, led by the Nokia G20 at 159 (129.99, about $ 189). Its screen is a bit small at 6.5 inches and has a low resolution of 720p. Internally, it uses a MediaTek G35 processor with a 5,050mAh battery, over 4GB of RAM, and up to 128GB of expandable storage. However, there are four rear cameras: a 48-megapixel main camera, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide, a 2-megapixel macro, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. Around the front, there is a notch containing an 8-megapixel camera.

The Nokia G10 will be added to the G20 for 139 (109.99, about $ 165). Its display and battery have the same specifications as the G20, but with a less powerful MediaTek G25 processor with 3 or 4GB of RAM and 32 or 64GB of expandable storage. In the past, there were only three cameras: a 13-megapixel main camera, a 2-megapixel macro, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The Nokia G10 has an 8-megapixel selfie camera.
At the bottom of the newly revamped lineup is the C-series, which HMD says is designed for people who would have previously purchased non-smart feature phones. The 89 Nokia C20 (79, about $ 105) and the 75 Nokia C10 (about $ 90) both feature a 6.5-inch 720p display, a single rear 5-megapixel camera, and a 5-megapixel self-camera. I’m running Google’s lightweight Go. Android 11 edition. The C20 has a Unisoc SC9863a processor and the C10 has a Unisoc SC7331e processor. Both are available with 1GB or 2GB of RAM, 16GB or 32GB of expandable storage, and a removable 3,000mAh battery that charges via MicroUSB.

Naming conventions may differ from the previous Nokia line, but with six new devices, the HMD focuses on affordable phones with a long support period, which is a traditional strength. While still waiting for the HMD to confirm the exact US price and availability of mobile phones, the G10 and C20 will be available in some markets later this month, and the X20 and G20 will be available in May. It will be available, and the X10 and C10 will be available in June.
