Avalanche Software's Harry Potter RPG still in the works, rumors suggest
Recent rumors suggest that the Harry Potter RPG from Avalanche Software is still in development. This unannounced Harry Potter project was in development at Avalance Software but we haven't heard anything about it so far.
A Reddit article has compiled a list of rumors and leaks supporting the existence of a Harry Potter RPG. The post shows pictures of the game that was released last year. Thereafter, nothing was heard on the project.
According to a DM on Twitter named Jason Schreier, the game is still under development at Avalanche studios. However, the game's release date is said to be a long way off. Confirmation from a DM does not really imply anything substantial. However, other developments have occurred in the past few days.
Avalanche Studios recently put in place a job offer for an "AAA title which will be announced soon". As far as the job list is concerned, there is nothing to indicate that this concerns the unannounced Harry Potter RPG. But the rumors don't stop there.
A known lessor, Shinboi602, shared his two cents on the recent job list by Avalanche Studios. One user has stated that Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment would not be releasing two games in the same year. To this, the lessor replied: "Are you sure?". Said lessor's response indicates that he knows something that we do not know.
Following this, the aforementioned DM recently jumped into a discussion regarding the Harry Potter RPG from Avalanche Software. Another user expressed doubts that WB had released two games in one year. Schreier replied: "If only there was a place where several games could be announced at the same time!"
A place big enough to announce multiple matches, the E3 2020 immediately comes to mind. With respect to multiple games, the defender suggests that WB could announce the new Batman game alongside the Harry Potter RPG from Avalanche Software.
The rumor mill doesn't stop there. Troy Leavitt, the chief designer of Avalanche Software, supposedly confirms that the new Harry Potter title will be announced "soon".
Recall that these are just rumors and that nothing has been officially announced yet. The gist of these whispers is that WB will announce the Harry Potter RPG with the new Arkham game later this year.
We have unofficial information about the new Batman game. Rumors indicate that the game will have a larger open world than previous games. The next Batman game will be supposed to be a full reboot of the franchise.
