Training of faculty members on “earthquake response”
The Department of Civil Engineering at the College of Engineering, Pune (CoEP) will conduct a training program for faculty members on “Earthquake Response and Control of Vibration of Lifeline Structures”. Postgraduate graduates, researchers and faculty members from AICTE-recognized institutions along with government and industry employees are ready to participate in the week-long training schedule from July 5 to July 9. Experts from IITs, NITs and eminent engineering colleges will participate in the training conducted under the ATAL Training and Learning Academy. PG Diploma in Buddhist Heritage and Tourism
Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) and the Postgraduate and Research Institute of Deccan College are jointly launching the Postgraduate Diploma course in Buddhist Heritage and Tourism starting from the 2021-2022 academic year. The three-semester course will cover Buddhist literary and philosophical heritage, history, world heritage, Indian heritage and sites Hajj is among many other topics. Graduates of any stream can enroll in the course. Online applications for the course can be completed by visiting the SPPU Campus Common Entry platform. Pune Knowledge Cluster is organizing an online course “Understanding and Exploring Epidemiology” next month.
