The Mexican National Seismological Service (SSN) reported that an earthquake measuring 4.4 on the Richter scale occurred just 23 minutes ago, 86 kilometers southeast of Agua Prieta, Mexico. Early evening on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at 6:55 PM local time. The exact magnitude, epicenter and depth of the earthquake can be reviewed within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review the data and improve their calculations, or when other agencies release their reports.
